5 Reasons Why You Should Try the PROFUSION PRO CONTOUR PALETTE

Here are the 5 Reason Why You Should Try the Profusion Pro Contour Palette:

No. 1: PACKAGING

The packaging for this palette is a hard Box/Carton type palette with embedded pans. The palette has a swing/flap opening and a huge mirror on the inner flap. Many new palettes released these days do not include mirrors, which is a little bit annoying since on-the-go or while doing your makeup, you will need an ample size of mirror to use. The packaging has a relevant size to what size of product pans provided. It also has a good quality to it which makes it a good product itself. 

The packing for this palette is just like what other bloggers who have tried this said “Same/Dupe for the Kat Von D Shade and Light Palette”. In the photos that will be provided, you will really see the similarity. 

No. 2: SHADE SELECTION

• There six shade selection included in this palette. There are 3 bronzer/contour shades and also 3 matte highlight shades.
• The bronzer/contour shades included in this palette has 3 different shades of brown, an ashy brown, a light cream brown and a darker toned brown. All of the bronzer shades are wearable in a way that even if you have a more than usual light skin tone, you can still make use of this and not look muddy.
• The matte highlighter/ setting shades in this palette are the best, it is like they were sent from the gods. The highlighter shades in this palette are not shimmery, they are just highlighting matter powders used to set makeup but will also give a brightening effect. The shades includes a natural colored powder or what they call “universal powder”, the middle shade is a banana shade for brightening, and last but not the least is the apricot shade one which is used to blend into the skin to have a smooth transition for bronze, blush and highlight.

No. 3: PRICE & AFFORDABILITY

This product originally is priced at $10 – but you can also snag it for a half price ($5.99) at TJ Maxx and also on some online shops. The price of Profusion usually goes down due to a not that "popular" brand. It is not that the Profusion brand does not have good products, they totally have good products but due to large competition with more well know brand, Profusion is always set aside and not having the its own spotlight in the makeup industry. If you are able to get a Profusion product, don’t hesitate to get it because there is quality on their products.

No. 4: WEAR TIME

For the wear time of this product, when applied to the face it lasts for about 4-6 hours. It may not be long enough but for everyday use, you get a maximum wear time of 6 hours in which it is a long time (IMHO). The products fades in a light manner, it gradually lightens up but still leaves a shade of color onto the face. 

No. 5: FORMULA

This contour palette is a powder contour but it has a buttery and creamy texture to it in which when applied to the face, it blends like a dream! The blendability of this powder is on point in which you will not have a hard time blending and will not have patchy or muddy output. If compared to the Kat Von D Shade and Light palette, this one has a competitive formula to it. This one has a slight powdery feel to it than the Kat von D one. But as of the drugstore palettes available in the market, this is one of the best.
