Here's a 5 Point Review about this Allure Cosmetics SG Satin Lipsticks and Liquid Matte Lipsticks. The "5 Point Review" will be an assessment and examination of the products based on the Formula, Pigmentation, Texture, Longevity and Application of the product. Cosmetics lipsticks are said to be oil based and lightweight on the lips. In just opening and swatching the lipstick you will notice that the claims are all true that it is oil-based as the product shows it in actual, you will also notice that once you swatch the product on your wrist or on the lips, it smoothly glides and that goes to show that it is moisturizing.
Matte
Liquid Lipstick
The matte liquid lipstick has a thick consistency, like a lipgloss. At first you won't be able to distinguish if it is a gloss or a liquid matte lipstick since the packaging does not state what it is. Due to its thick consistency, you will think it is a gloss, but in just letting it set for how many seconds, it dries down to an ultra flat matte finish that will not move and will not be removed. The only thing that can remove this is an oil-based makeup remover, which is a good thing since it goes shows that it will be long lasting.

The shade
provided by Allure Cosmetics SG was named "Rose" which is a blue
toned lipstick. The color is perfect for the summer weather here in California.
With this shade, it accentuates the lips more and gives the face a very fresh
and enlightened look. As for the pigmentation, it is pigmented and in just one
swipe the pigment is rich with color. The formula is oil-based satin, in this
case if compared to other lipsticks you will be needing 2-3 swipes to get the
lipsticks' true color, but for this particular one the pigmentation is so good
that you'll just need one pass.

The
provided shade was "Aster" which was also a blue toned mauve shade
that sets to a more purple shade than pink. In the
first swipe and application, the pigment is not visible and shows a thick
sheer gloss feeling (maybe due to shipping, the tube needs a little mixing).
But when dipped on the second time, the pigment and color is visible. It is
pigmented that you will need only one layer for you to see the opaqueness of
the color.
Point 3: TEXTURE
Satin Lipstick
On the tube itself,
you can see that the product itself looks smooth, soft and very dense. You can
also see that there is quality on the product since it was sent from Singapore
to California and you won’t even see “oil-droplets” on the sides of the bullet,
not like other high-end lipsticks.
For the satin
lipstick, it has a soft glide feeling to the lips when applied. Since it is
oil-based, you can feel that the lipstick really do moisturize the lips as soon
as it is applied.

Opening the acrylic
tube you will be notice that there is a normal doe foot applicator provided,
and you will also observe that texture of the product itself is not your
ordinary watery liquid texture, but this one is very thick and creamy, and the
texture is soft and creamy like a lip gloss.
When applied to the
lips, you need to wait for 30 seconds max to it to dry down to flat matte- yes
the finish is “Flat Matte”. It may emphasize dryness and chapped lips when this
dry down so make sure you scrub your lips first before application. The texture
of the liquid matte lipstick is more on the grainy-dry side; let’s just say a
little more drying those usual liquid lipsticks.

4: LONGEVITY

For
the longevity and staying powder of this lipstick, it will stay on the lips
just like any other regular lipstick. This may have a little bit more staying
power based on the shade you will get because it may stain the lips and might
still look good even if the lipstick has faded.
Matte Liquid

This liquid lipstick
dries flat matte after seconds of application. After it dried down, it won't
move and it wouldn't budge at all which is a good thing about this. This would
last you all day, and would get removed when you eat oily foods. This liquid lipstick
has the best staying power.

5: APPLICATION

This
lipstick has high shine, rich color and moisturized finish to it which means
the application would be smooth and would glide unto the lips softly. If not
applied carefully on the lips, this may smear a little on the sides of the lips
and you might need to clean it up.
Matte Liquid

This liquid lipstick
has a thick consistency. You may need to swipe excess product from the doe-foot
applicator so that it will apply thinly
and it wouldn't get patchy. You will actually need only a small amount
or a thin layer and your lips would be covered with opaque color.
CONCLUSION:
These lipstick are high quality and you will notice that they are true to its claims. This review is based on the shades provided to us by Allure Cosmetics SG; specifically the Satin Lipstick in Rose and the Liquid Matte Lipstick in Aster. In conclusion, the satin lipsticks will be are good moisturizing lipsticks and will last you a long time due to its staining power. Meanwhile the liquid matte lipsticks might need a little work on moisturizing since if you applied too much of the product, it might be drying on the lips. This is still a must try if want a super moisturizing lipstick and a long staying power matte liquid lipstick!
