5 Best FALL Liquid Lipstick Shades Under $10

Fall is here and we are already halfway through October, can you believe it; time flies by so fast and soon it will be Thanksgiving! I will be sharing with you 5 of the Best "Fall Liquid Lipstick" shades under $10! Yes! Under $10! 

How should we describe fall makeup looks? Based on trends from the past few years, Fall Makeup tends to show more of a "deep and dark" shades of eyeshadows, lipstick, and even hair color. Based on Harpers Bazaar, some of the beauty trends for Fall 2017 are as follows: Metallic eyeshadows, Rockstar dark eyeliner, Copper smokey shades, Glitter eyeshadows, Dark smokey eyes, Smokey Cut crease eyes, last but not the least DEEP SHADE BERRY lipstick; whether purple, burgundy, black plum or dark berry gloss stain, it's in this Fall!

1. NYX Cosmetics: Liquid Suede on Soft-Spoken (LSCL04)

This liquid lipstick is a cream type lipstick that dries out flat matte. It has a comfortable feel to the lips despite it being matte. It is not drying to the lips nor have a feeling of uncomfortable cracking and crumbling in the lips.

Shade: A Warm under-tone shade of pink, more on the darker nude pink side reaching a shade of maroon. 

Price: $6.99-

Cruelty-free? Yes!

2. ColourPop: Ultra Matte Lip in Tulle

Colourpop liquid lipsticks have been hyped up this past year. They have booming sales from beauty gurus, lovers, and even beauty enthusiasts. Now about their formula, every liquid lipstick from them are pigmented enough that even in just one swipe the color payoff will be great. Some of their shades have a comfortable feeling to it but some of the shades don't. This tulle lipstick may be comfortable to the lips upon application but does not stay in the center of the lips that long after food and drink intake. But if you need to retouch it has a good formula that even if you layer it up, it still has a comfortable feel to the lips.

3. Jazzy France: Lustrous Lip Gloss in Tea Rose

Jazzy is a local brand from the Philippines and it is said that all products are Made in France. This liquid lipstick is known to be part of their HD line. This lipstick is has a thinner formula than Colourpop, you can say that it really is in liquid form. It dries out matte and also has a comfortable feel to the lips, you might want to do just one coat to the lips because layering it seemed to give an uncomfortable feeling to the lips even though it has a very thin formula.

Shade: Rosy deep but cool terracotta

Price: Php 299/ $6.00-

4. Rimmel London: Provocalips in Heart-Breaker

The "Provocalips" line from Rimmel claims it to be 16-hr kiss proof color. As expected, trying out this lipstick is a must for me to give you an honest review. This lipstick is quite different from all the liquid lipsticks that I have tried, this one has a glossy-type feel to it, almost a gel-type formula. It has two steps, first is the color itself then a clear gloss which would be the locking formula, it is important to do the second step because that will be the one which will lock the color and make the lips feel comfortable. Based on trial, it really has a pretty strong staying power and it really was not removed upon eating or drinking anything. It won't budge! But the only sad thing about this is that it is hard to remove, you will be needing an oil-based makeup remover to fully remove this. Even though this is budge-proof and may sound weird, it has a comfortable feel to the lips. If you want a totally long-wearing lipstick then you really need to try this for yourself!

Shade: Warm, deep-maroon red

Price: $5.29-

Cruelty-free? No.

5. Pink Sugar: Sugar Tint in Queen Bee

Pink Sugar is another Philippines local brand that serves affordable but quality cosmetics. Their sugar tint are somewhat like the Nyx soft matte lip cream formula in which it is more on the mousse-y/creamy type but this product dries out flat matte. It need time to dry down matte though but whenever it has dried out, it wont move.

Shade: Deep maroon-red with brownish undertone

Price: Php 350/ $7.50-

Cruelty-free? Yes!
