BENTON Cosmetic Papaya-S Suncream | 5 Point Review

Hello there gorgeous! I'm back to my daily grind and now providing you a skincare review. Today I am sharing with you a sun cream/ sunscreen. This is the PAPAYA-S sun Cream by Benton Cosmetic. I actually won this from their giveaway! Now, let's talk about the brand "Benton Cosmetic" itself.

Benton Cosmetic is a cruelty-free brand from Korea which produces skin care products that cater all women/men of all ages. While they cater all people of all ages, their products focus more on skin replenishment and anti-aging effect to make the skin young looking. Benton Cosmetic is a Korea made product which provides best skin care products that will "Turn back the time of your skin". Their products are claimed to be "Freshly-made" products and has healthy ingredients. Based on products showed on their website, what they have are toners, moisturizers, masks, ampoule, cleansing foams, sun-cream, and essences. I already have tried their Aloe BHA Skin toner (Review here) and been loving it since then. Now let's begin to see the wonders this Papaya-S sun Cream will bring us.

Point 1: PRODUCT/CLAIMS
The Papaya-S Sun Cream is a sunscreen that is SPF50+ with PA++++ which is directed as a product "For Sport". The product is a white colored lotion that has a slight shiny reflex to it. It is said that its u a 43% of Papaya fruit water in which as we all know, papaya is always used as whitening in which maybe this cream can also whiten the skin while also protecting it from the sun UV rays.

It is said that Benton Cosmetic products do not have chemicals added to it, and it is all naturally made with fresh products. Let’s see what ingredients they used for this product, for full list see below.
Ingredients: Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit water(43%), Titanium Dioxide, EthylhexylMethoxycinnamate, zinc oxide, Octyldodecanol, Dicaprylyl ate Coco Caprylate/Caprate, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone. Pentylene Carbon Glycol, Niacinamide, HelianthusAnnuus (Sunflower) Seed oil, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoy Hexyl Benzoate, Glycerin, Bis Ethylhexyloxphenol Methoxphenyl Tnazine, Aqua Water, 1,2-Hexanediol, Polyglycery+3 Disostearate, Magnesium Sulfate, Beeswax, Aluminum Hydroxide, Dimethicone, Propaneciol,Hydrogen Dimethicone, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Carica Papaya Seedoil(5000ppm), Glyceryl Caprylate Dimethicone/vinylDimethiconeCrosspolymer, Tiethoyoapryylsiane, Panthenol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Beta Glucan, Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Extract (750ppm), xanthan Gum, Xylitylglucoside, Anhydroxylitol, Xylitol, Adenosine, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Bud Extract, Disodium Adenosine Triphosphate, Papain(100ppm), Algin. Glucose, Geranium Maculatumo

Main ingredients:
·         Carica Papaya (Papaya Fruit Water)
o    This is basically a papaya fruit extract.
·         Papaya Seed Oil
o    This oil is extracted from the seeds of the papaya (lol, you don't say?). Now, papaya seed oil usually has light yellow color to it. Based my research from our best friend Google, I saw an article from BeautyMunsta.com (Visit her website!), that papaya seeds has high levels of vitamins including Vitamins A, B and C!
o    Here are some benefits of Papaya Seed oil as stated from BeautyMunsta.com website (link here!), it can be used as Skin Brightener, Reduces Scarring, Anti-Inflammatory, Delays Wrinkles, Fights Acne and Natural Exfoliant. Now I want it all in my skin! This sun-cream truly is something just for this specific ingredient!
·         Beta-Glucan
o    This specific ingredient serves as anti oxidant, anti-aging and also used to skin soothing agent for fine lines and wrinkles.
·         Dimethicone
o    The most protective ingredient for the skin to keep moisturization sealed to the skin.
·         Shea Butter
o    This ingredient is used for healing the skin for skin problems and also moisturizes the skin. This helps the skin minimize the blemishes caused but acne scarring, wrinkles or even other skin care problems.
·         Cathamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Bud Extract
o    Safflower is said to give the skin glow, and also fights acne.

Point 3: BENEFITS

"Papaya-S Sun Cream is a physical & chemical sunscreen for effective sun protection. Physical sunscreen typically leaves a white cast and provides relatively less UVA protection than chemical one. Mixed with chemical sunscreen, Papaya-S Sun Cream effectively protects skin from both UVA and UVB. SPF 50+ / PA++++ is the highest factor available in South Korean and suitable for outdoor activities." Benton Cosmetic on Papaya-S Sun Cream.

As we all know sun cream usually leaves a white cast to the skin when used under makeup, but for this one it doesn't. The cream has a super creamy texture to it but when applied to the face, it is easily absorbed and feels lightweight.

Point 4: TEXTURE/ APPLICATION
This Sun Cream is a milky white cream that is very moist in application yet lightweight feel to the skin. You just need a pea size of this cream to cover the whole face. This specific cream really does what it is made for but the only downside I can say about this product is I did not like the scent of it. It has a strong scent to it which almost smells like aspirins and flowers (strong smelling flowers!). It is supposed to smell like flower, but this has a pretty too strong smell for my liking.

Point 5: EFFECTS
1.    On the first application of this product, I was a bit shocked while spreading it to the face because it made my face somewhat bluish-white in color. But the more you spread it on the face, the skin absorbs the products and results to a skin like color finish.
2.    The SPF provided in this cream will really help a lot during summer time and also can be used every day. Even though it is SPF50+, it has a lightweight feel to it that you won't even feel like you are wearing a sunscreen on your face.
3.    The product is a milky white product; it has Papaya extract to it which may help you whiten your complexion. It is good to hear that this product protects you from the sun and ALSO helping you whiten your skin under the heat of the sun.
4.    This provides a moisturizing effect to the face and gives a smooth and plump finish. Some of the sunscreen that I have tried has also provided a moisturizing effect to the skin but leaves more of an oily feel, but this specific product does NOT have an oily feeling to the touch.
5.    Since it is Papaya based it may also help the skin as an anti-oxidant. It helps the skin to be protected and helps the skin regain its youth and helps prevent wrinkles and other blemishes.

I don't usually review the packaging for products because what I focus more is the product/formula itself, and also you could already see what it looks like in the photos right? Maybe I will add reviews for packaging wise if the products are totally expensive, like maybe your paying for the packaging not the product itself. What do you think? Are packaging reviews important to you? Please comment below what you think!

Hey have you tried this sun screen yet? If not, comment below your favorite SPF sunscreen, would love to know which ones you love.

    1. It actually has thick formula to it but not like other sunscreens wherein it so thick and oily. The thickness of this cream is fast absorbing to the skin and dries skin-like. The brand has promising products, you should check them out!
